Donors pledge $40 a month to honor DLC's 40th anniversary.

The Club's commitment is to pledge a recurring gift of at least $40 a month to celebrate the 40 years the DLC has served the Durham Community.

Absolutely! Other amounts $ are listed on the donation page or you may enter a custom donation amount.

That is up to you! Are you able to commit for the next 4 months? Year? 40 months? If you would like to set an end date for recurring donations, you may do so when making your donation. The DLC is asking for this ongoing commitment as monthly givers help ensure DLC has sustained funding for our current programs and can support even more students.

Since 1985, the Durham Literacy Center has provided FREE instruction and tutoring to over 18,500 adults and out-of-school youth through Adult Literacy tutoring, English for Speakers of Other Languages classes, the Youth Achievement Program, and College and Career Readiness workshops. DLC remains the only community-based organization focused solely on adult literacy. Now more than ever, DLC needs generous donors like you to support our 40-year tradition of excellence in adult literacy in Durham.

Click on the “Donate Now” tab, which will take you to our regular donation page. Donors can click on preset amounts OR a custom amount. You can then specific whether it is a “one-time” or “monthly” donation. The DLC appreciates ALL of its donors!
